Tuna Tartar with Mango Relish

Ingredients Tartar

  • Sushi/Sashimi grade Tuna (ca. 100g per person)
  • Soy Sauce
  • Wasabi
  • Cucumber
  • Sesame seeds

Ingredients Mango Relish

  • 1 Mango (Papaya, Pineapple or Melon)
  • 1 Avocado
  • 1/2 Cucumber
  • 1 Tomato
  • 3 Scallions
  • 1/2 bunch Cilantro (or parsley)
  • 1 Jalapeño pepper (or 1/2 green bell pepper)
  • Chili Flakes
  • Wasabi
  • Sesame Oil
  • Lime juice or Rice Vinegar
  • Salt & Pepper (to taste)

Preparation

Chop the Tuna in small cubes and mix with Soy sauce, Wasbi & sesame seeds
Slice a few slices of cucumber and place them underneath the tartar
Finely chop the ingredients for the relish dress with oil & lime juice and leave in fridge for 20 minutes to marinate

Presentation

Serve with extra Soy sauce & Wasabi
Arrange as seen in picture (or similar)
